Dear Rebecca,

I was watching this show on HBO called Real Sex Presents: Porn 101: XXXtra Credit.  It was about an amateur porn festival held in Boston.  So I got to thinking.  There are some positives to porn.

1) Porn can be enjoyed alone.

2) Porn can be enjoyed with another person.

3) Porn can be enjoyed with a group.

4) Porn can be made with actors and actresses and directors and whole entire crews.

5) Porn can be made by one person, two people or more with just a camcorder.

6) An amateur can star in a porn film with a professional actor and/or actress.  (Sure I can get casted as an actor in a Hollywood movie or be on a show like Law & Order, but in a Fan Type Movie or a Pro-Am I could actually star.  The only reason I don’t is that every guy in the business would quit). 

7) Porn keeps the tissue industry in business.

Porn Stars are more approachable then so called Main Stream stars.  I actually get to meet porn stars.  I can get pictures with them.  I can get autographs from them.  Plus they answer their own emails.  That it is pretty cool.

9) Most Porn Stars are friendly and down to earth.  I have worked with some actors who were friendly and willing to help out.  I have worked with some who were stuck up.  I guess that’s the same no matter where you go.
